Greetings to all,
Here is where you’ll find works authored by the lineage masters, teachers and students of the Engaged Dharma Insight Group. Occasionally we run across interesting items that we’ll post here by other sources. Some will be for sale, some will be for free, and for some we’ll ask donations. All funds received from these items will be used to further our teaching outreach. If interested send us an email with your interest at engageddharma.ig@gmail.com
Books, Buddhas, mala beads, pamphlets, art and more.
Check it all out. More will be added as they arise.

Art is causally conditioned phenomena. The artist – painter, sculptor, writer, musician, dancer – is at the mercy of causality – causality is their muse.
What possessed me to buy old Scrabble games at yard sales, estate sales and junk shops?
What possessed me to haul home from a dumpster the battered lid to a wooden shipping crate?
What possessed me to hold on to a faded and scratched stereograph card image of the Kamakura Buddha from the early part of the Twentieth century?
What possessed me to buy a Tibetan craved yak bone mala, put it in a drawer for years?
What possessed me to hold on to two Buddhist themed pinback buttons?
The Web of Interdependence print I created as a Christmas gift for Venerable David was the ‘muse’ of casual conditioning that brought these things, empty as they were, to attain a form.
WEB, the resulting mixed-media art piece is a product of causal conditioning.
